Identity is not something we need to create.
Much of life can become a process of learning who we are supposed to be - shaped by expectations, experiences, relationships, fear and the stories we have believed about ourselves.
But beneath all of those layers, something remains.
These writings explore the possibility that discovering who we are may be less about becoming someone new, and more about remembering what was true before we learnt otherwise.
Reflections on identity, perception, belonging and the stories that shape how we see ourselves.
before someone told you who you were
before you learnt what was expected
before you discovered which parts of you
were easier to love
who were you?
